Your serial number can be one of the following numbers:

• If you have a network license (multi-user) version of the Quartus^® II software, the serial number is printed on the side of the Quartus II software shipping box, and on the Registration and License File Request Form, which is also included with the Quartus II software package. This number begins with the letter G, and is followed by five digits (Gxxxxx).
• If you have a node-locked (single-user) version of the Quartus II software, the serial number is the number on your Software Guard.
