To demote one or more pin or logic cell assignments in the Current Assignments floorplan or Timing Closure floorplan:
Open the Current Assignments floorplan or open the Timing Closure floorplan.
Select one or more assignments to demote.
Choose Demote Assignments (Assignments menu). Shortcut
To demote the assignment(s) to a specific level, under Demote assignment(s) to, select the appropriate option.
Click OK.
