To generate a Binary File (.bin), Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex), Library File (.a), or Motorola S-Record File (.srec):

If you have not already done so, specify the directory for the ADS Standard Tools, GNUPro for ARM®, or GNUPro for Nios® software toolset.
Choose Settings (Assignments menu). Shortcut
In the Category list, select CPU under Software Build Settings.
Click the CPU tab.
In the Embedded processor architecture list, select an embedded processor core.
In the Software toolset list, specify the software toolset you want the Software Builder to use by selecting ADS Standard Tools, GNUPro for ARM, or GNUPro for Nios.
If you selected ARM922T as the embedded processor core, select Little endian or Big endian in the Byte order list to specify the byte order of the embedded processor core's memory initialization data.
In the Output file format list, select Binary File (.bin), Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex), Library File (.a), or Motorola S-Record File (.srec) to specify the type of file you want the Software Builder to generate.
In the Output file name box, type the directory and file name for the output file that the Software Builder is generating, or select a file name with Browse (...).
If you selected Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex) in the Output file format list, and you do not want to generate a flash programming file or generate passive programming files, select None under Programming file generation.
Click OK.
If you want to purge intermediate files that the Software Builder generated for the current software build settings during the previous software build, choose Purge Intermediate Software Files (Processing menu).
